WE SUPPORT MORE SUSTAINABLE COTTON

In Tendam, we're proud Members of the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) with the commitment to souce 50% Better Cotton by 2025. improving worldwide cotton production through a Mass Balance system, not physically traceable to end products.

BCI connects people and organisations from across the cotton sector, from field to store, to promote measurable and continuing improvements for the environment, farming communities and the economies of cotton-producing areas. Trains farmers to use water efficiently, care for the health of the soil and natural habitats, reduce use of the most harmful chemicals and implement the principles of decent work.

TAKING CARE OF THE PLANET

Our commitment to the environment goes beyond the way we make our garments: the manufacturing process and the fabrics we use.We want to reduce the environmental impact of all our activities and therefore we are continually seeking out new solutions for the benefit of the environment.Every step counts.

Our commitment to climate change:THE FASHION PACT

As a part of Tendam, Women'secret has joined The Fashion Pact together with other leading international fashion companies, aligning objectivesto achieve the low-carbon challenge by 2050.How will we achieve this? By defining:

  • Strategic objectives

  • Global commitments

  • Specific actions

  • Climate

  • Oceans

  • Biodiversity

The challenge is to limit the increase in the planet's temperature to less than 1.5°C

How are we going to achieve this?We have identified SPECIFIC ACTIONS that reduce the environmental impact of our activity.

HOW TO WASH ORGANIC COTTON

• We recommend washing cold and not using a tumble dryer.

• Wash clothes inside out with similar colours.

• Hand wash any delicate organic cotton garments.

PLANCHA MENOS
